Maximise your performance by strapping in during your warm ups. by adding 15-20 minutes of Recovery BFR post workout; or build strength when used with weights, resistance bands or bodyweight.

BFR is an intense experience so expect to feel uncomfortable, with sensations of tingling or throbbing, especially while you exercise. As your limbs swell with blood, they may become flushed and discoloured. This is completely normal and safe.

If you do not feel pressure building up or throbbing in the limb, the straps are too loose. Increase tightness and start again. If you feel pain, or extreme tingling or numbness in the limb, the straps are too tight. Reduce tightness and start again. If pain persists, STOP and consult your GP.

HOW TO WEAR YOUR HYTRO BFR?

First loosen the straps completely before putting on your BFR product.

Ensure the mechanism is at the very top of your limb, right next to your groin or armpit, to effectively perform BFR.

Pull the straps as tightly as you can around the top of your arm or leg and firmly apply the Velcro patch, locking blood in the muscles.

You can now Prepare, Train or Recover safely and effectively knowing that you’re getting more from you workout than ever before.

WHAT IS BLOOD FLOW RESTRICTION?

Blood Flow Restriction, or BFR, works by locking blood in the muscles with a strap while performing low-intensity exercise or recovery protocols, driving quicker and more effective performance adaptations.

IS BFR SAFE?

Like many forms of exercise, BFR is safe for most people, however, a medical professional should be consulted if there are any contraindications that may increase the risk of injury or safety.

WHAT DOES BFR FEEL LIKE?

For most people, BFR is a new and novel method that can be experienced in a number of different ways, and due to this, it can take a couple of uses to become used to the feelings and know what to expect. You should expect to feel some slight numbness or tingling, muscle swelling and skin tightness, changes in skin colour, and increased vascularity, which are all very normal responses to BFR training.
